The Deep End Series explores layers of Pigment and Glaze applied over time. 
It originated with a theme of exploring texture and depth with few colors and has expanded over time to include a more vibrant palette. Thin veils of color are built up slowly, allowing base color to show through in the final reading. Each layer drying before the next layer is applied, almost resembling water color in some area's and as more layers are added an opacity is reached that still carries the vibration of all the color underneath, visible in some parts and felt in others.
