Thank you to everyone who made it out last Thursday night to join us in celebrating the opening of 'Of Tree's and Water' @ 'The Wine Therapist'!

This is the only footage I have. My husband took it early in the night. We got so busy chatting and enjoying ourselves, neither one of us stopped to take photo's! Note to self: Designate a friend to take pictures on the night. Such great memories should be recorded to share!
The atmosphere was warm and inviting. New friends were made I have heard and some lively conversations had! It is always rewarding to share the paintings and hear what different people see in them. I heard some of the crosses referred to as windows and as people, which I love. It is so interesting to look at them with another perspective in mind and to over hear other people talking about what they see or think about different aspects of a work.
I have had some interesting opportunities present since. I will share them as they get underway. There are a couple of 'holds' on paintings and they will be tried for size in their prospective new homes after the 15th! I'll post more on these later.
Thanks also to Gretchen Neary, the manager at ''The Wine Therapist', for asking me to exhibit in the first place. Ours was a chance meeting that led to a very rewarding experience 'The Wine Therapist' is a great venue, they have an excellent selection of good wine and delicious cheese plates! It is one of my favorite local venues.
I remember back a year ago when a girlfriend organized a get together for some friends there and I thought to myself it would be a great place to show some work! Very pleased the opportunity came up to do so!
Now it is back to the studio and back to work for the next adventure!
